Detailed Product Description

A needle felt is a thick, non-woven fabric of the staple fibers produced by mechanical actions which include opening, blending, carding, web forming, needle punching and finishing. Needle felts are manufactured in two versions, either with or without an internal supporting fabric(scrim). Each fabric is calendared to achieve the optimal fabric density and is available in many different finishes, so that it can withstand various conditions, such as moisture, corrosion and abrasion. DWS needle felt finishes include singed, eggshell, glazed, calendar, membrane and chemical treatments. The felt has three dimensional microporous structure with high void rate and less air resistance. So it is widely used as a filter media for dust collection. DWS provides a serials of needle felts which include Metamax needle felt, PPS needle felt, P84 needle felt, FMS needle felt, Fiberglass needle felt, acrylic needle felt and Polyester needle felt,and etc
